Statistics from the Kentucky Department of Education show
that bullying is still a real threat in Kentucky school systems.
A recent report, which the state collaborated with the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to complete, showed that over 40
percent of all middle school students still experience bullying to some degree.
The number is somewhat lower for high school students, at around 20 percent.
Around 20 percent of middle school and high school students
reported having been electronically bullied.
